WHO COULD FORGET Father Noel Furlong’s caravan?
That Irish dancing scene was one of Father Ted’s most iconic moments. Twenty years after Father Ted came to an end, it’s still cracking people up.
While a group of Irish girls (Claire Power and Sarah Walsh from Waterford, and their friend Rebecca Ryan from Kildare) were travelling around New Zealand, they decided to recreate this scene.
That’s right. They recreated a scene from Father Ted while they were about 18,000km away from Craggy Island.
You’ll rarely come across Father Ted fans that are this dedicated. Claire and Sarah did a little jig, while Rebecca filmed them. Thankfully, they did not flip the caravan over.
